About
A trusted shortlist for European parents
Most recommendations for lower-exposure baby products are written for the US. European Edit vets products against a published standard and checks you can actually buy them in Sweden.
Why we exist
Researching every material, ingredient and certification — and then finding a shop that delivers — takes time few new parents have. We do that work product by product and show our evidence, so you can decide quickly and know why something is on the list.
Editorial independence
- Products are vetted against published rules.
- A brand cannot pay to pass, to be listed or to rank higher.
- Affiliate commission never changes whether a product passes.
- Affiliate commission never determines the order of products or retailers.
- European Edit may earn money when you buy through some links — see our affiliate disclosure.
- Brands may send evidence or corrections, which we review like any other source.
What we are not
The Standard is an editorial framework, not a medical guarantee, a laboratory certification or a regulatory approval. We do not give medical advice and we do not call products “safe”. For health questions, and for the correct use of safety equipment, please follow official guidance and your healthcare provider.
Where we are
We start with Sweden and English. Our data is built for the wider EU/EEA, and other markets will follow as we can verify shipping for them.
