Wool terry trousers for babies and toddlers. 100 % organic, untreated merino wool. Medium-weight terry quality. The wool trousers have generous hems/turn-ups at the legs, so they are easier to grow into. They have a wide elastic waistband, making them comfortable to wear. Wool terry insulates particularly well thanks to the small loops on the fabric surface, and is therefore ideal both as a middle layer on colder days and as trousers in autumn, winter and spring. Untreated wool warms and breathes particularly well because it absorbs moisture from the skin and conducts it away. It retains its warming ability even when wet, so that the child does not become clammy, wet and then cold. The fibre structure and lanolin content (wool grease) of untreated wool make it naturally bacteria-inhibiting. These properties also make it easier to dry or rinse away new stains. Often a few hours' rest/airing is enough. The garments carry the strictest environmental certification (IVN/GOTS), are ethically and responsibly manufactured, and contain no chemicals that may be harmful. Need not be washed before first use. The wool terry trousers are an excellent middle layer at nursery, good inside both waterproof clothing and an all-in-one. They are soft and stretchy to move in, and work well as ordinary trousers too. The colour matches several of our wool bodysuits, should you wish for a set.
