Material: 100% organic and untreated merino wool in a thicker quality. Breathes and regulates temperature, for all seasons. Soft, stretchy trousers. Wide, comfortable elastic at the waist. Generous edges or turn-ups at the bottom at the ankles can be folded up, so the garment grows with the child. The fibre structure of untreated wool and its lanolin content (wool grease) make it naturally bacteria-inhibiting. Silk also has a naturally cleansing effect. These properties also make it easier to dry off fresh stains. Often a few hours of airing is sufficient to remove odour. The garments carry the strictest environmental certification (GOTS/IVN best), are ethically and responsibly manufactured and contain no chemicals that may be harmful. No need to wash before first use. Soft, stretchy wool trousers are comfortable to wear indoors or next to the skin under the overall. These trousers go nicely with, among other things, our wool bodysuit. All Nøstebarn garments are made without bleach or heavy metals, so no wash is needed before first use. Wool wears on exposed areas, so holes can appear at the knees over time or from falls, but a little mending multiplies the garment's lifespan.
