Trousers in wool fleece. 100% organic, untreated merino wool. Thick yet light wool fleece. The trousers have a high waist with elastic and good rib-knit cuffs at the legs so that they are easier to grow into. Untreated wool warms particularly well and feels especially pleasant against the skin, as it both insulates and wicks moisture away. Wool fleece has very good insulating properties, because the carded wool fibres retain heat particularly well. Wool is flame-resistant and therefore not flammable. The fibre structure and lanolin (wool grease) content of untreated wool make it naturally bacteria- and odour-inhibiting. These properties also make it easier to dry or rinse away new stains. Often a few hours' airing is enough. The garments carry the strictest environmental certification (GOTS/IVN best), are ethically and responsibly manufactured, and contain no chemicals that may be harmful. Need not be washed before first use. Comfortable, thick yet light wool trousers for little ones. Good as a middle layer under waterproof clothing or an all-in-one, or on their own indoors and outdoors when we need a little extra warmth. Together with a wool fleece jumper or a hand-knitted jumper, they are a good alternative to a wool fleece all-in-one. Two-piece is flexible, as the pieces can be used separately, and trousers and jumper can overlap when the clothing is too large at first. A two-piece middle layer is also convenient during potty training or when a nappy change needs to be quick.
