Wool fleece jumper. 100% organic, untreated merino wool. Thick but light wool fleece. The jumper has wooden buttons at the shoulder to make dressing easier and to ensure it closes snugly around the neck. Remember that all buttons on children's clothing should be checked regularly because of the risk of choking. Good rib trim at the sleeves means it can be bought slightly large. Untreated wool warms especially well and feels especially pleasant against the skin, as it both insulates and wicks moisture away. Wool fleece has very good insulating properties, as the carded wool fibres retain heat particularly well. Wool is difficult to ignite and therefore not flammable. The fibre structure of untreated wool and its content of lanolin (wool grease) make it naturally bacteria- and odour-inhibiting. These properties also make it easier to dry or rinse off fresh stains. Often a few hours of airing is sufficient. The garments carry the strictest environmental certification (GOTS/IVN best), are ethically and responsibly manufactured and contain no chemicals that may be harmful. No need to wash before first use. A comfortable, thick but light wool jumper for little ones. Good as a mid-layer under raincoats or overalls, or on its own indoors and outdoors when we need a little extra warmth. Together with our wool fleece trousers or our rib-knit wool trousers, it is a good alternative to a wool fleece overall. Two pieces are flexible because the parts can be used separately, and trousers and jumper can overlap when they are too large at first. A two-piece mid-layer is also convenient to have during potty training or when nappy changes need to be quick.
