Wool terry sweater for babies and toddlers. 100% organic, untreated merino wool. Medium-weight terry quality. Wool terry insulates particularly well thanks to the small loops on the surface of the fabric, so it works excellently as a mid-layer for cosy indoor evenings on colder days, or as an outer layer on milder days. The wool sweater has generous cuffs at the sleeves, so it is easier to grow into. Untreated wool breathes and keeps warm particularly well, and retains its warming ability even when wet, so the child is less likely to become clammy, wet and then cold. The fibre structure of untreated wool and its lanolin content (wool fat) make it naturally bacteria- and odour-inhibiting. These properties also make it easier to dry or rinse off new stains. Often a few hours of rest or airing is enough. The garments carry the strictest environmental certification (IVN/GOTS), are ethically and responsibly manufactured, and contain no chemicals that may be harmful. No need to wash before first use. Please remember that all buttons on children's clothing should be checked regularly, as they can pose a choking hazard. The wool terry sweater is an excellent mid-layer at preschool, and works well inside both rain gear and overalls.
