Wool and silk bodysuit for babies and toddlers. Two mother-of-pearl buttons at the neck for easier dressing. Snug sleeves that can easily be folded or pulled up at first so the child can grow into it. 70% organic, untreated merino wool, 30% silk. Thin, fine knit. Wool with silk is breathable and temperature-regulating. It wicks moisture and sweat away from the skin, warms when it is cold and cools when it is warm. It retains its warming ability even when wet, so the child does not become clammy or wet and then cold. The fibre structure of untreated wool and its lanolin content make it air- and bacteria-inhibiting, so stains are easy to wipe off. Silk also has a naturally cleansing effect. Often a few hours of airing is enough. Environmentally certified (GOTS), ethically and responsibly manufactured, and contains no harmful chemicals. No need to wash before first use. Please remember that all buttons on children's clothing should be checked regularly because of the risk of choking. A soft and elastic bodysuit in 70% organic, untreated merino wool, 30% silk. The popper at the shoulder makes it easy to slip over the little one's head, while it fits closely and comfortably around the neck and shoulders so that the child does not get cold there. Your baby only needs two or three bodysuits when choosing untreated wool (see the equipment list under our Wool Guide). Wool bodysuits start at size 56/62. Babies grow roughly one centimetre a week during the first 12 weeks, so a slightly too-large bodysuit with the cuffs turned up at first will last longer than a couple of weeks. When a garment is to be used closest to the baby's sensitive skin, it is reassuring to know that it contains no harmful chemicals. All Nøstebarn garments are made without bleach or heavy metals, so it is not necessary to wash this bodysuit before first use. The same model is also available in 100% wool. Some choose wool with silk in summer and 100% wool when it is colder, others choose their favourite quality all year round, and still others choose by the colour they like best. The difference is not particularly large. Both are soft, warm and comfortable against the skin.
