Helmet-style hat in wool fleece for babies. 100% organic, untreated merino wool. Thick yet light wool fleece. Flat seams at the sides. Tied with cords. Untreated wool keeps warm particularly well and feels especially soft against the skin, as it both insulates and wicks moisture away from the skin. Wool fleece has very good insulating ability, as the brushed wool fibres retain heat particularly well. Wool is flame-resistant and therefore not flammable. The fibre structure of untreated wool and its lanolin content (wool fat) make it naturally bacteria- and odour-inhibiting. These properties also make it easier to dry or rinse off new stains. Often a few hours of airing is enough. The garments carry the strictest environmental certification (GOTS/IVN best), are ethically and responsibly manufactured, and contain no chemicals that may be harmful. No need to wash before first use. Soft and warm baby hat in brushed wool. Helmet model with flat seams and a tie under the chin. This is the thickest of our helmet hats. It is comfortable and warm but not windproof. If the hat is to be used without other weather and wind protection (e.g. in the pram or with a hood over it), we recommend our wool fleece hats with wind protection, or our wind hat with wool lining.
