Terry wool romper with feet. 100% organic, untreated merino wool. Medium-weight terry quality with the smooth side facing inward and the terry loops facing outward. The romper has press studs at the shoulders and an embroidered sheep on the chest. The romper is roomy, with plenty of space for the nappy, and nothing tightens around the tummy. Wool terry insulates particularly well thanks to the small loops on the fabric's surface, so the romper works all year round, except on the very hottest summer days. Untreated wool warms and breathes especially well because it absorbs moisture from the skin and carries it away. It retains its warming ability even when wet, so the baby does not become sticky, damp and then cold. The untreated wool's fibre structure and lanolin content (wool grease) make it naturally antibacterial. These properties also make it easier to dry or rinse away new stains. A few hours of rest/airing is often enough. The garments have the strictest environmental certification (IVN/GOTS), are ethically and responsibly made, and contain no chemicals that may be harmful. No need to wash before first use. A really good romper for the first six months. As the romper has feet, the trouser legs do not ride up, socks do not come off, and the baby's feet stay warm. It is easy to grow into; initially, you may wish to hold the trouser feet up with a tied sock or a hair band (not too tight). Quick and easy to take on and off when changing nappies, as it only fastens at the shoulders.
