Wool tights for babies. 100 % organic, untreated merino wool. Fine-rib structure. High waist to avoid elastic sitting across the stomach and to provide room for the nappy. Untreated wool warms and breathes particularly well and retains its warming ability even when wet, so that the child is less likely to become clammy, wet and then cold. The fibre structure and lanolin content (wool grease) of untreated wool make it naturally bacteria- and odour-inhibiting. These properties also make it easier to dry or rinse away new stains. Often a few hours' rest/airing is enough. The tights carry the strictest environmental certification (IVN/GOTS), are ethically and responsibly produced, and contain no chemicals that may be harmful. Need not be washed before first use. Tights with a good, high waist and plenty of room for the nappy, without the elastic pressing on the stomach. 100% wool is elastic without elastane and provides extra warmth. Be aware that wool wears quickly in exposed areas. During the crawling stage the knees of the tights may need patching while the rest of the tights remain as good as new.
